Why use RefWorks?
a quick overviewRefWorks is a reference manager, similar to EndNote. With EndNote, you must first install and configure software on your laptop. RefWorks works entirely in the cloud. Word also has its own citation features, however, these are limited and do not help you manage your collected articles.
Getting started
create an account and install the additional tools1. Activate your RefWorks account
To create your personal account with 100GB storage, you only have to enter your ******@hr.nl e-mail address and create a password. After submitting your details you will receive an e-mail to activate the Refworks account.Create your account
2. Install the extension and add-on
RefWorks comes with two extras that make it easier to use:
-
Save to RefWorks
Add this button to your web browser. It allows you to save a reference to an article when the site itself does not offer an option to export to RefWorks. -
RefWorks Citation Manager (RCM)
An add-on for Word and Google Docs that allows you to add references and a bibliography to your document. After installation, log in with the account you created earlier.
