    Students from outside the EU/EER (Europe) who wish to attend a programme at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences for more than 3 months are obliged to obtain a permit.

    If you will be staying in the Netherlands for a number of months or years then we would recommend opening a Dutch bank account.

    When preparing for your stay in the Netherlands, it is very important to ensure that you will be properly insured during your stay. By law, it is mandatory to have health insurance. We also recommend taking out liability insurance.

    Public transport in the Netherlands is well organised. But if you’re new you might need some extra tips. There are many ways to get around in Rotterdam. You can go on foot or by bike, but public transport is an easy way to get from A to B.
