At Home in Language

Already in early childhood, children differ significantly in their language acquisition, as can be seen in variations of vocabulary sizes during elementary school. Comprehensive support of children at schools and at home, acknowledging families’ homes as the most influential environment for child development, is considered a promising strategy to closing young children’s language and literacy gaps.

Heads Together

Youth with mental health issues tend to drop out of school, traineeship or work more easily. Koplopers, a project by and for young people based in Rotterdam, is aimed at improving this participation.

KNAP'RZ

The objective of the support programme is to research, support and promote the learning and innovation processes in the implementation of ‘Together for South’ through a combination of research and professionalisation activities with implementers and managers involved in ‘Together for South’.

Stay on Track

This project investigates, together with displaced youths and the people around them, how the return to school can be improved, so that the youth can participate in society in a meaningful way and make better use of their talents.

Toolbox

The toolbox to improve urban school-family partnership contains tested methods which are usable in practice. This specific tool is developed for Introductory parent-schoolmeetings.
