We do this with practice-oriented research and innovation projects in sectors such as construction, maritime, logistics, water, and the process and manufacturing industry. The knowledge developed is widely shared, applied in the city and port of Rotterdam and used to innovate our technology education. We have also set up a learning environment on the RDM Rotterdam campus – with all kinds of labs and workshops – that resembles practice, and we are making young people enthusiastic about studying technology.
