Connie Dekker-van Doorn is a registered nurse, and obtained a MSc in Education, specializing in Human Resource Development at Utrecht University. After years of experience in advisory and management positions in general and university hospitals, she began her doctoral research on the role of work processes, human factors and team learning in relation to patient safety. In 2014, she completed her PhD research at Erasmus University.
