    Why did you choose MCE?
Before the Master programme, I completed my bachelors (in Dutch) at the same university. I worked and travelled for 2 years but I always felt like I did not have enough expertise in entrepreneurship and therefore decided to take the next step. Another reason why I chose this program was due to the international environment. Before applying, I contacted alumni of this Master programme on LinkedIn and found out it was very international and there was a strong team environment. When I began the programme I had the opportunity to meet and work with different nationalities and add an intercultural dimension to my studies, something that was lacking in my last course.

What did you enjoy the most about the study programme?
The main highlight from this programme was the practical approach to learning, it helped us gain the needed experience in order to enter the working field. Applying theoretical frameworks to actual companies helped me learn and understand the material better since I am not one to only read and memorise the theory. The international environment is a unique point for this university (for both Dutch and international students) along with the practical learning approach. This approach helps develop soft skills such as communication, presenting and project reports in combination with the study fields- Consultancy and Entrepreneurship. Even though the challenge this year was the changing curriculum and structure (as it is a new programme), it enforced quick adaption skills.

What are your plans for the future?
Currently, I am working as a business developer for a company that helps governments and large enterprises with digital transformations.

While writing my thesis, I was able to write a business plan and this experience helped me develop the necessary skills for my personal short and long term goals. Now moving on into the working field, by obtaining a Dutch taught Bachelor degree and an English taught Master's degree, I became a strong candidate and I feel that this academic background gave me an upper hand in the job market.

Achievement: Award for Student of the year and highest Thesis grade
