    Profiling fund

Has your study progress been delayed because of a special situation? For example, because you are pregnant, have a long-term illness, or family problems? When you are a student in a full-time, or dual study programme, and your studies have been delayed during the first four years in higher education, you may be eligible for the Profiling Fund.

    Conditions

    Special circumstances would be:

    • Illness or pregnancy
    • Disability or chronic illness
    • Special family circumstances
    • Council activities
    • Insufficient educational feasibility
    • Professional sports activities
    • Any other situations involving force majeure

    How to apply?

You can apply to the committee of the Profiling Fund. The student counsellor can help you with the application. Please get an appointment with one of the student counsellors at your location. Include the following: an accompanying letter, supporting documents and a declaration of your study programme.

    Note: DUO

Have your studies been delayed due to a chronic illness or disability? You may be eligible for a DUO service. This financial provision will always get priority. Check with your student counsellor if this also applies to you.

    Compensation

If the committee approves your application, you will receive a monthly allowance. The amount is determined each year (€250 in academic year 2019-2020). This applies after you have completed the first four years of higher education (or after the first two years if you are a student at an associate degree programme).
