About
Worked for several years as a market researcher for Bouwcentrum, the University of Utrecht and as a (freelance) IT consultant before starting a career in higher education. I started my career in education first as a lecturer in ICT. The year 1989 marked the start of my own ICT consultancy business, specialising in client relationship management systems.
In 2000 I joined the predecessor of the Rotterdam Business School. Over the years I have lectured in all subjects, except languages. Have supervised over 200 thesis students both in bachelor's and various master's programs and participated in several applied research projects.
In the last few years, these research projects are related to city logistics, minor programme and applied research in the field of logistics and supply chain.
I pride myself to be truly multi-disciplinary. I have experience in Business and Management consultancy and research ranging from ICT to International Business. A keen eye for what keeps team members motivated and inspired.
Can combine a purely rational scientific approach with creativity and a dash of humour and fun. Experienced both in quantitative and qualitative research methods for for-profit and non-profit organisations.
