Supermarkets are the most common option, with different stores such as Jumbo, Albert Heijn, Aldi, Lidl, Dirk and scattered all around Rotterdam, you should find very quickly and easily the right store for you to shop at.
Convenience stores are also a very good option to find traditional, exotic food or special products that you will not be able to find in your average Dutch supermarket. Locations such as the West-Kruiskade and the 1e Middellandstraat are perfect streets to find these types of stores.
Local and weekly markets are also a healthy option for your groceries. Locations such as the Binnenrotte center market (Tuesday- Saturday and located at Blaak) or the Afrikaanderplein market (Wednesday- Saturday and located in Rotterdam South) are perfect spots with loads of different varieties of products. Shopping at those markets around the end of the day is the best way to find cheap prices and promotions on the products still available.
