Students have developed a prototype to measure whether nurses and physicians use sufficient disinfecting alcohol-based formulation and follow the protocol (perform it correctly and at the right time). A warning system is attached to it. The next step is to pilot test the innovation on a larger scale with more incubators. To achieve this aim, close collaboration with researchers and experts from the research programme Healthcare Innovations with Technology has been established.
