The Master's Foundation Programme is an ideal preparation programme for the English-taught Master programmes at Rotterdam Business School.
Our Master's Foundation Programmes are designed to prepare you for one of our two English-taught Master programmes: Consultancy and Entrepreneurship or International Supply Chain Management. By taking classes such as Business English Skills and the Specialisation and Supplementary courses you will build a solid foundation of business knowledge for your Masters studies.
If you have a Bachelor degree in business but do not meet the IELTS/TOEFL entry requirements for your chosen Master programme, or if you feel you need some extra preparation for a Master programme, Rotterdam Business School offers you a 6-month intensive course to prepare you for the level required for one of the specialised Master programmes. If you have a Bachelor degree or a Master degree in a non-Business field and you are looking for a major change, RBS offers you a 12-month extensive course. The 12 months foundation programme starts theoretical (block 1+2) and will be more experiential (practical) in block 3+4.
The level of application of this knowledge increases throughout the course with students making presentations, writing business reports, developing research skills, working on projects with external companies and taking part in an online business simulation using real-time economic conditions. Emphasis is placed on the value of team-work, self-reflection, and personal development. The assessment process, guidance and expertise of lecturers will prepare you well for one of the master programmes.
The 6-month intensive programme commences in both February and September. The 12-month Master's extensive programme commences in September.
