Exchange programme

Ready for the future? We live in a world in transition. The media inform us daily about the impact of new technologies, climate change and the development of new business models.

With your background in Marketing, Sales or Business you will work on a number of wicked problems in the areas of circular and digital economy, connecting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to company strategy. 

Together with Dutch and other international students, you will explore these themes in depth and will learn how to create a genuine impact on companies by developing a new business strategy. During the course, you will develop your cultural sensitivity and your analytical, organisational and business skills.

What to expect

About the programme

You will work on a wicked problem related to the themes of The Next Economy. In this process, you will come up with solutions to innovate business while incorporating and utilising new digital resources. In this educational setting you develop different skills on how to renew and digitise business processes. Also look in depth into innovations in business models, product market combinations and marketing concepts that arise from big data, circularity and new information technology. Lastly, propose possible solutions to companies and validate these. 

This practice will further help develop your competencies.

Method

When you enroll in this course, you will join a class of approximately 24 students. Together with your classmates, you will attend the group lectures. Besides this, you will team up with a group of 3 or 4 other students to work on your project. The lecturers are available for questions and help, but it is up to you and your group to take the lead, to decide how you are going to apply the theory, and most of all: impress your (real) client!

The educational approach of this course is working together on a real-life project. There is mandatory attendance.

Type of assessment

During and at the end of the course, there is a combined assessment (ST).
