Rotterdam Business School (RBS) is looking to appoint an Education Officer with a focus on Communication and Events (0.4-0.6 fte).
The position on offer is within the masters programmes in the Masters of International Business department.
In this position you perform various administrative and organizational activities for the master programmes and the pre-master course. You process a variety of student data and external relation details in our systems and you ensure that the data is kept up-to-date. You take the lead in activities like our Start week, graduation events, seminar days and the annual Impact Day. In line with the strategic goals, you ensure good and clear in- and external communication and you’ll be our linking pin to the RBS communication and events department. You work closely with the logistics coordinator of education, the programme coordinators, the lecturers, students and student affairs and the course director.
In order to carry out the duties effectively, the person appointed is required to have the following skills and experience:
- A degree at bachelor level;
- Relevant previous work experience with (preferably) an international focus;
- A flexible, and result- and student-oriented attitude;
- Strong organisational skills and an accurate way of working;
- You are pro-active and independent;
- You easily identify bottlenecks and communicate about this with your colleagues and manager;
- English language skills at least on CAE level or other comparable programme;
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, and a good team worker;
- Knowledge of and affinity with ICT.
Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences (Hogeschool Rotterdam) offers you a fixed term contract (one year D4). The salary range is HBO-CAO grade 8 or 9 (€2,756.90 minimum and €4,158.87 maximum gross per month) for fulltime employment, exclusive of 8% holiday pay and 8.3% end-of-year bonus.
